Megan Webberking

Solution Manager | Marketing & Sales CRM Web, Covestro

Megan Webberking, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, USA, received her Computer Science degree in 2004. She has 18 years of experience within the IT field implementing JAVA web-based/CRM solutions. After first working on cable network, and later Biosurveillance software, she began working for Bayer in Pittsburgh in 2006. In 2009, Megan moved to Germany where she continued to work for Bayer and later Covestro (formally Bayer MaterialScience). There she helped lead and implement multiple systems within the Customer Interaction Management team which spanned from the global webshop, different marketing applications, as well as the global pricing solution.

In 2011, she joined the Vendavo and Covestro partnership, and became an integral part of the journey to make a unified pricing solution for Covestro. After taking on the global application manager role, Megan has seen out numerous upgrades, as well as led the latest migration from an OnPremise system to the Vendavo Cloud to success, and continues to work with a devops/agile strategy mindset in cooperation with Vendavo for the future of Covestro’s pricing.

Kristof Boodts

Director Commercial Strategy, Manufacturing Industry Leader, Deloitte

Kristof is currently based in Brussels, where he is part of the leadership team of Deloitte’s European Pricing Centre of Excellence.

He has over 15 years of both industry and advisory experience in the manufacturing industry, with deep expertise in chemicals and industrial products sectors. Kristof is passionate about supporting organizations on their journey to become more sustainable and customer centric, and how to successfully launch new circular offerings combining products, services and software.

Marc Abels

Partner Strategy & Analytics, EMEA Pricing CoE leader, Deloitte

Marc has 20 years of experience in Go to market strategies and a deep expertise in pricing.

He leads the Strategy & Analytics team (260 consultants) for Deloitte Belgium. He is one of the ‘pricing’ experts within Deloitte Europe and is a regular speaker on various pricing conferences (e.g. Professional Pricing Society and European Pricing Platform).

His main industry focus is on Lifesciences (Pharma, MedTech) but he also has experiences in Manufacturing and Services.

Maarten has a strong focus on Sales & Marketing and a deep expertise in pricing and commercial analytics. Prior to joining Deloitte, Maarten has gained over 8 years of business experience in divers commercial excellence topics, having worked on customer strategy, segmentation, go-to-market strategy, pricing and product portfolio management and salesforce effectiveness.

At Monitor Deloitte Maarten is leading the Commercial Excellence team, bringing new and data driven approaches to customers across the globe (having supported clients in more than 23 countries).

Sami Laine

Partner Deloitte’s Industrial Products Business Leader in Europe, Deloitte

Sami has over 20 years of consulting experience and he specializes in advising on global strategic business transformations including operating models, value chains and supply chains.

Sami has significant experience from working within Industrial Manufacturing. His core competencies include business strategy, operating model development and implementation, transfer pricing and change programs. His clients includes global equipment manufacturers, industrial service businesses, process manufacturers and consumer product manufacturers.

Kai Goebel

With more than 25 years of business experience in the Professional Services including 15 years in the chemical industry, he is combining the expertise of senior management roles in Deloitte and leadership roles in the industry. Kai has end-to-end expertise from marketing, sales and digital strategy to process and technology implementation. Before joining Deloitte, he worked in an e-Commerce joint venture of BASF, Bayer and Degussa as head of marketing, sales & BD.

Koen Hoogstoel

Global Digital Strategy Manager, Yokogawa

Koen is a global digital strategy manager within Yokogawa. He is responsible for the rollout of CPQ and price optimization programs within the IA products division. He has almost 20 years of experience in direct sales, product management, and setting regional IA products sales strategies, a must-have for transforming the Yokogawa digital mindset towards the future. Based in Belgium, working for a Japanese company and talking to global colleagues in the US, Singapore, Korea, and the Middle East is a natural enrichment of his job, which keeps him continuously motivated to achieve the common company goal. In his free time, he follows the consumer electronics world, mountain bikes, and enjoys the hobbies of his two sons.

Maria has over 30 years experience from the packaging industry, where she has been leading Commercial and cross functional organisations. She has extensive experience in change management in connections to mergers and transformations in the area processes, capabilities, and performance striving at Commercial Excellence. Over the past thirteen years in a variety of roles, Alex has worked directly with clients in manufacturing, distribution, and services, to design and build solutions that drive growth and profitability through commercial excellence.

Prior to working for Vendavo, Alex served in various product marketing and pricing roles for Fortune 500 companies in transportation, retail/consumer goods and business services. As a Certified Pricing Professional (CPP), Alex is a subject matter expert in strategic pricing and he holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing, and a BS in Behavioral Psychology. Alex has also taught courses in marketing at the undergraduate level and served as a guest speaker at conferences focused on pricing and commercial excellence.

Kalle Aerikkala

Senior Business Consultant, Vendavo

Kalle Aerikkala has worked within the pricing and product management profession for the last 12 years, starting with Finnish technology companies supporting service and spare part pricing globally.

Currently Kalle works with Vendavo as a Senior Consultant helping broad range of customers to achieve better results through improved pricing.

Even after 12 years every day you learn something new and the world of pricing is incredibly interesting as it touches on basically every function within a company.
